“Last Known Whereabouts: The Drive” or “Just leave, I’m sick of you.”
Wednesday evening I hit the highway and drove towards Helena. Made it most of the way there and then detoured through some scenic places and recreation areas in the country. I sat by a river for a while, absolutely alone.
I had this desire to make my surroundings amplify my mood. I was upset and so I wanted to be uncomfortable and deprived of the luxuries of home. But the mountains are actually really soothing, so after an hour or so I drove home listening to Neil Young and Midlake.
